The Best Of November - Gig Guide

There's plenty going on in Bristol this November, so here's Bristol Whipped's guide to our favourite picks from this month's gigs:
Nov 3rd: Anson Rooms, 7:30pm
Hope you were more organised and managed to get to see this one last week. The Bristol Whipped team managed to leave it until the last moment again and ended up missing out. Now we're bitter & disappointed especially after all the praise people were giving Beach House on Twitter the next day. Is it too extravagent for us to organise a mini-break to Paris or Amsterdam to catch their shows there?... Ah heck, lets just go all out and fly out to their Tokyo gig! (...)

Nov 13th: The Fleece, 7:30pm
Easy Star All-Stars present their adaption of Michael Jackson's Thriller, and if you've heard any of their other reggae based tributes to Pink Floyd (Dub Side Of The Moon), Radiohead (Radiodread) or The Beatles (Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band) then you know you're in for a treat with "Thrillah". Easy Star All-Stars hold a special place in the hearts of the Bristol Whipped team, so hope to see you there!

Nov 19th: O2 Academy
Canadian rock band Billy Talent head to the UK to head up this year's Rock Sound Riot Tour, stopping in Bristol on Nov 19th, bringing along Awolnation with them for good measure. She from Bristol whipped was partial to a bit of Billy Talent whilst at college, so is eager to see them live finally (as long as the O2 crowd doesn't make her feel too old, and that as long as she has enough pennies to spend on those drink prices...)

Nov 23rd: The Fleece, 8:30pm
"A raucous night of debauchery featuring live music, a circus show, and outdoor fire show, DJs and more!" Literally, what more could you want?! The Carny Villains bring their circus show band act to The Fleece to inject you with their infectious energy. If you've ever seen them before then you know you're in for a lively treat! This time they bring Ten Pound Suit Band and Fitty Gomash to help the party along.
Bristol Whipped had hoped to see Caravan Palace on this very night, but as this has been sold out (as far as we know...) for ages then the team started to look for alternatives and found this, which sounds just as good, if not better!

Nov 29th: The Fleece, 7:30pm
Looks like The Fleece is the place to be this month as this night is bound to be brilliant! Mad Dog Mcrea take to the stage for their second UK tour, and if it's half as good as the last one then it's going to have even the most cynical audience member up on the floor doing jigs and slapping their thighs! Bristol Whipped have had Mad Dog Mcrea on repeat on Spotify over the past few weeks so are extra excited about this gig! And don't forget Cosmo Jarvis - anyone with a song called "Gay Pirates" is definitely worth looking in to!

Happy November guys, sorry it's just a small selection of highlights, but hope to see you at some of these awesome upcoming events!

If you want tickets or any more information on these gigs, or any others happening in Bristol, make sure you check out Bristol Ticket Shop or Ents 24!
